Located atop Cemetery Street in the quiet village of Frankfort is a Victorian Mansion built in 1878 by Frederick Gates of the Gates Match factory. In 1889 the mansion was sold to Professor Carl and Carlatta Myers. The mansion was used to make and experiment with hot air balloons. Thus the name, The Balloon Farm.
Our guests have a choice of a large airy suite with bedroom and sitting room or a twin bed room.
A classic continental breakfast is enjoyed weekdays (with homemade baked goods) and a full country breakfast on weekends. Our breakfasts are always an adventure in good eating!
