Hazelnut Farm B&B is a comfortable retreat for the weary traveler or the busy vacationer, or groups of family or friends on holiday. Susan and Art Adams, the hosts and owners, have "researched" B&B inns in their travels throughout the United States and Canada. They have created an assortment of rooms and suites. The special touches that you will find at the "Hazelnut" include sun-dried bed linens, garden bouquets, and home baking. A full breakfast is included with a menu that varies daily.

The Hazelnut B & B is a former dairy farm. Art Adams, the friendly host, was the last occupant to "ship milk" from his herd of Holsteins. The barns are now empty of cattle, however the rolling fields are farmed by a local dairy family with a large herd of Jerseys. Two friendly horses, "Silver" and "Mohammed", now preside over the fields that dominate Hazelnut Farm.

In 1999, a meandering stream was converted into five large ponds as part of a federal wetlands project. The Great Blue Heron is a frequent visitor along with assorted waterfowl for viewing by the amateur ornithologist.

Directions: from Cooperstown

Route 80 North 11 miles thru Springfield Center to Route 20.
Cross Route 20, continue North on Route 80, (You will pass thru the hamlets of Van Hornsville and Starkville ) 12 miles to Fordsbush road.
Turn left on Fordsbush road as you approach the Hamlet of Hallsville.
Travel ½ mile to Paris Road.
Hazelnut Farm is ½ mile in on the left, (205 Paris Road)

Take NYS Thruway I-90 East to Exit 29A, Little Falls
Route 5S East 5.5 miles. ( After the Montgomery County line)
Right on (South) Fordsbush Road
3.8 miles to Paris Road, left.
Hazelnut Farm is 1/2 mile in on the left.

Directions: From the East NYC, Boston

Hazelnut Farm is a one hour drive from the Thruway (I-90) Exit 24 in Albany. From the East get off at exit 29 Canajoharie.
Turn Right onto Route 5S West to Fort Plain, 4 miles

Turn Left at traffic light (Getty Gas) onto Route 80 South

Go almost 5 miles to Hallsville (very small hamlet)

Turn right (west) on Fordsbush Road.
Travel 1/2 mile to Paris Road at the top of the hill
Right on Paris ½ mile in on the left, (205 Paris Road)
