Mariaville Lake Bed and
Breakfast situated on picturesque Mariaville Lake just minutes
away from Schenectady, is a step back into simpler times. During
your stay you can plug in your laptop, but you may prefer to
unplug and listen to the water lapping on the shore. Cable TV is
available; the geese may be more entertaining. You can talk on
your cell phone, but you might want to tell those big fish to
bite instead. Step off the fast track and take out the canoe.
Avoid telling your boss to take a hike by taking a hike yourself
on our 250 acres of trails. You may not need a doctor after you
unwind on our dock or take a swim in the 200 acre lake. Winter
offers ice fishing, snowmobiling and a doze by the fire with a
book on your lap.

Rates and Policies
We are open year round, so we don't have
charts with confusing dates and rates.
Lakeview:$189, Vineyard:$159, Colonial:$139,
Country Room:$179, Suite:$229.
Included in your rate is a full breakfast,
and use of our dock, canoe, rowboat and hiking trails. We welcome
well-behaved children. Pets are not allowed. Our bed and
breakfast is non-smoking.
Check in time is between
4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
unless other arrangements are made. Check out time is 11:00 AM.
A deposit of 50% is required by credit card
or check in advance of your stay and will be refunded if notice of
cancellation is received more than 14 days in advance of your stay minus
a $25 cancellation fee. If notice is fewer than 14 days, your deposit is
refundable only if we can rebook the room. There is a two night minimum
on certain week-ends. Call for details.
Directions:
From West I-90:
Take exit 27. Turn left onto Rt. 30 S. Go about 8.0
miles, then turn left onto Rte. 159. Proceed about 3.5 to the top of the
hill to the light in Mariaville. Lakeside Store will be in front of you.
Turn right onto Batter St. and proceed straight into the driveway, (as
the road bears left) between the stone pillars of the B&B. (First house
on right)
From East I-90:
Take exit 25A. Pay toll and proceed to first exit,
25. Top of ramp turn left and proceed to light. Make a left turn onto
Rte. 7. Go to the second light and turn left onto Rte. 337 also known as
Burdeck St. Go ½ mile to the next light and turn left onto Rte.159.
Follow Rte.159 for 9.5 miles. You will go across the causeway on the
lake, follow the road to light. Lakeside Store in on the corner. Go
through light making a left onto Batter St. and proceed straight into
the driveway (as the road bears left), between the stone pillars of the
B&B. (First house on right.)
From West on I-88:
Take exit 24 (Duanesburg). Turn right at Rt. 20 and
proceed 2.5 miles through Duanesburg. Turn right onto Duanesburg
Churches Rd. Proceed 3.5 miles. Turn Right onto Batter St., proceed 2.5
miles. The B&B will be on your left across from the lake. It is the
large white house with black shutters.
From Schenectady:
From Five Corners in Rotterdam: Take Rte. 159 to
Mariaville and follow directions below.
From I-890 West: Take exit 2A (Campbell Rd.). Across
from Rotterdam Mall, turn right (at Burger King), onto Putnam Rd. Go up
hill (stay right). Follow Putman Rd. (2 Miles) to Rt. 159 (the first
STOP sign). Turn Right and follow 159 into Mariaville.
Rt. 159: Proceed to Mariaville.
At the light (Lakeside Store in front of you), stay to the left and go
onto Batter St. and proceed straight into the driveway (as the road
bears left), between the stone pillars of the B&B. (First house on
right.)
